The four official mobile offers

The Apple web entries name MetaQuotes Software Corp. as the developer. Check the package identifier net.metaquotes.metatrader4 or net.metaquotes.metatrader5 for Google Play. Storelinks can move to the regional store; read availability and system requirements before installation there.

The trading frontend is separate from the broker. A real MetaTrader app does not confirm the permission of a provider that can be found in it, nor the accuracy of its business promises. Verify Provider and Access

Connect an existing account in the app

1. Install MT4 or MT5 to match the existing account. The products are not interchangeable account accesses.
2. Open account management and select login to an existing account.
3. Looking for the exact broker server. Similar names are not treated as equivalent.
4. Enter the account number and the appropriate password.
5. Check demo/live, account identity, account currency and fresh price data. Only then prepare an action.

iOS and Android have different navigation. Orient yourself to accounts/settings and the views of prices, chart, trade and history instead of a single supposedly universal position of an icon.

A mobile order and its control

1. In the price list, select the instrument and open the trade dialogue.
2. Check direction, volume and order type; enter protection level and, if applicable, pending price.
3. Submit and read the result. In the trading view, check whether a position or a pending order has arisen.
4. To change or close, select the specific entry in the trade view and then check residual volume and protection level.
5. Search for the completed task in the history; a missing entry may be on the time filter.

On tight display before sending consciously check symbol, volume and direction aloud or in writing. This is our user recommendation, not an additional function of the app. An accidental new sell order is not automatically the closing of a buy ticket. Account Model and Closure

MT4 Web Trading and MT5 WebTerminal

MT4 Web Trading and MT5 WebTerminal are browser-based interfaces. A download is not required for this. The specific trading access must fit the account and the provision of the broker.

Official MT5 web demo open ↗. According to the manufacturer’s description, this demonstration is a demo access. Live trading takes place via the broker-related web access. The MT4 product link also currently refers to the general web portal; for an MT4 live account, therefore, the specific MT4 web access can be confirmed at the broker.

1. Open web address from the verified broker source, not from an unsolicited message.
2. Check product, account and server allocation.
3. With a demo account, first track price view, trade dialogue and closure.
4. After sending, check the result; reload the account status after a browser restart.
5. log-out and do not store access data on shared devices.

Which environment is suitable for which task?

The documented standard apps and the standard web terminal are not a runtime replacement for locally installed desktop EAs; continue to plan a suitable desktop or VPS environment for them. An EA can continue to work on a separate desktop or VPS while you are mobile-watching the account. Therefore, check during the mobile intervention which other automation is still active.

Change of equipment and failure

Open server-side positions do not disappear when you close the browser or app. Local analysis views are separate from this. After the device change, check active orders and confirmed stops.

In case of unclear transmission do not immediately double send: first check trade, history and, if necessary, the broker status. No network also means no reliable current screen section. Diagnosis and documentation
